Sunday 29th October - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance apart from Team Maestro and Snorting Wizbon who had some late dropouts, but return to action on Sunday 5th November as normal.  We look forward to seeing both return.

Premier Division leaders FC G&T suffered defeat for only the second time this season as 01543 FC ran out victorious in a nine goal thriller, 5-4 the final score in an end to end game, although the leaders should have enough points in the bag to take the title with only three to play.  Diadora FC remain in third place after they ran out 2-1 victors over FUB FC.

There was a big result in Division One as the top two met this week, Murder on Zidane's Floor running out 3-0 winners against AC McCann who they leapfrog in the table to top spot, all but securing promotion in the process.

Paralympiacos remain at the summit of Division Two and this week ran out winners of an eight goal thriller against Expected Toulouse, 5-3 the full time score in a superb encounter.
