Sunday 2nd February - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams attending their scheduled matches across both divisions.

In the Premier League, the strongest performance of the week undoubtedly came from 01543 FC, who put on a dazzling display of football to rout Still Haven't Got One Yet with a commanding 6-0 victory. Norfolk N Chance also made their mark with a solid 4-1 triumph over What Divock. Meanwhile, Bar Snort FC dramatically upended Murder on Zidane's Floor with an 8-1 drubbing, showcasing their attacking prowess. The only draw of the week was between Diadora FC and Burntwood FC, who ended in a nail-biting 0-0 stalemate, leaving both teams hungry for more in the weeks to come.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Hednesford U5s narrowly edged past WeKanteWin with a 1-0 victory, demonstrating that they are a force to be reckoned with this season. In another keenly contested game, Glass On Grass triumphed over Colonel Getafe 5-2, rounding off an exciting day of football.
