Sunday 2nd June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent football played across both divisions.

In the Premier League, the match between Murder On Zidanes Floor and 01543 FC ended in a nail-biting finish with 01543 FC edging past their opponents with a 1-0 victory. The evenly contested match between AC McCann and Norfolk N Chance resulted in a 1-1 draw, leaving the fans on the edge of their seats. FC G&T emerged victorious against Street FC with a scoreline of 4-2 in a match filled with thrilling moments. Diadora FC outclassed Real Miners F.C. with a whopping 7-0 scoreline, showcasing their offensive prowess. The match between BARELY ATHLETIC and Snorting Wizbon ended with Snorting Wizbon dominating the field with a 7-1 victory.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Jobbas Warriors managed to edge past Hednesford U5s with a 2-1 victory. Burntwood Dragons showed superior play as they beat Chadsmoor Wanderers 4-0. In a power-packed match, Kane Cobras FC defeated Adi Cannock 3-0. The match between Bar Snort FC and What Divock ended in a 3-1 victory for What Divock. Lastly, FUB FC edged past Sky Blue Army in a well competed encounter, eventually running out 2-1 winners.
