Sunday 3rd July - Cannock Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across both divisions.

Premier Division leaders Fatletico II were made to work for the points this week, as Stroke Titty pushed them all the way, the leaders eventually got the job done though as they ran out 3-2 winners.  Gabiurmyboy were 10-3 winners over Snorting Wizbon to move above them in the table and up to second.  Sharon's Sweethearts got their first victory since joining the league and what a result it was, as they beat champions Dynamo Fuktherest 3-2 to dent their hopes of retaining the title, whilst Diadora FC won a well competed game against 01543 FC by a 2-0 scoreline.

Firing Squad made it 6 wins from as many games this week as they thrashed third placed We Kante Win 5-2, denting Kante's promotion hopes as they are now four points off second placed FUB FC who cruised to a 3-0 win against Team Maestro.  AFC Nest made it back to back wins this week as they were 4-2 winners over Ayden FC, whilst Tekkerslovakia look a useful addition to the league as they claimed their second win in a row since joining, thrashing strugglers Master Haters by 8 goals without reply.
