Sunday 5th March - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed matches played throughout the night across all three divisions!

Stroke Titty stay top of the Premier Division pile this week after a narrow 2-1 win over 01543 FC keeps them two points ahead of second placed We Kante Win, who themselves were 2-0 winners over FUB.  Diadora look to be officially out of the title race, any slim hopes they may have had were squashed by a 7-4 thrashing against It Just Got Messi, whilst Snorting Wizbon got a big result in their survival hopes as they were 4-3 winners against Team Maestro.

Ayden FC are storming it in Division One so far this campaign, they picked up their ninth win in ten as they won a 14 goal thriller against Hednesford U5's by 9 goals to 5!  Despite this magnificent run, they cannot shake off second placed Norfolk N Chance who's 4-0 win against ACFC keeps them only two off the leaders in a two horse race.  Master Haters 7-1 dismantling of Breast Rummage Albion moves them up to third place, but any hopes of promotion look unlikely as they remain six points off promotion with only eight points to play for.  Completing the division's action was Leavemyarselona who were 3-2 winners over new boys The Buddhist Ballers.

The newly formed Division Two was pretty symmetrical this week as both games ended 3-1, Sky Blue Army getting their second win on the spin overcoming Goal Goal Power Rangers, whilst Bar Snort got their first victory since joining as they beat Kane Cobras.
