It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions, the only exception being FUB FC and Diadora FC who had given 7 days notice and return as normal this week, and Jobbas Warriors who also return to action on Sunday 12th May.
In the revered Premier League division, an exciting array of matches occurred, each team striving to conquer victory. Real Miners F.C. faced a resounding defeat against Norfolk N Chance, with the scoreboard reading 5-1 at the final whistle. Snorting Wizbon managed to narrowly surpass 01543 FC in a close face-off, ending with a 3-2 victory. AC McCann proved too formidable for Street FC as they secured a 2-0 win. However, it was Murder On Zidanes Floor that left spectators in awe, with a staggering 8-0 victory against BARELY ATHLETIC, which was the highest scoring match of the division.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the action was no less thrilling. Kane Cobras Fc decimated Six Offenders with a whopping 13-0 victory, the highest score for the evening. What Divock managed to edge out Sky Blue Army with a 3-1 win, while Burntwood Dragons roared past Adi Cannock in an impressive 8-0 triumph.
Notably, the top scorers for each division were the teams that registered the most goals. For the Premier League division, Murder On Zidanes Floor held the title with their astounding 8 goals. Division 1 saw Kane Cobras Fc take the crown, thanks to their remarkable 13 goal haul.
