Sunday 7th January - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions for the first matches of 2024!

In the Premier League Division, 01543 FC showcased an impressive performance by triumphing over Paralympiacos with a comprehensive score of 4-1. Murder On Zidanes Floor also bagged a victory with a slender margin of 1-0 against PBDL FC, demonstrating their defensive strength. FC G&T stole the spotlight with an overwhelming 7-0 victory against Snorting Wizbon - a result that significantly boosts their goal difference. Team Maestro edged out Diadora FC 3-2 in a closely fought encounter, while BARELY ATHLETIC dominated the field against AC McCann, capping off the match with a decisive 6-2 win.

In Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Norfolk N Chance outperformed Adi Cannock with a score of 3-1. The most significant victory in this division was by Kane Cobras Fc who crushed Sky Blue Army 6-0, showcasing their offensive prowess. Street FC secured a 3-1 win against Hednesford U5s, while The Crow-Knees managed to edge out FUB FC 5-3 in an exciting game. Per Vertesacker couldn’t keep up with the pace of Bar Snort FC, losing the match 1-5.
