Sunday 7th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Real Miners who'll be spoken to accordingly.

Starting with the Premier League, AC McCann faced FC G&T where the latter emerged victorious with a score of 3-1. BARELY ATHLETIC couldn't manage the heat against Diadora FC, trailing behind with a 3-0 loss. Norfolk N Chance bounced back strong from last week, claiming a well-deserved victory of 3-1 against Murder On Zidanes Floor. The last match of the division between Snorting Wizbon and Street FC was a close call, with Street FC edging out a 3-2 win.

Descending onto Division 1, What Divock came out on top, defeating Kane Cobras FC 3-1. Burntwood Dragons secured a slim victory over Jobbas Warriors with a 2-1 final score. Chadsmoor Wanderers and FUB FC clashed in a thrilling match that ended in a 3-3 draw. Adi Cannock gave a tough fight but eventually succumbed to Sky Blue Army by a narrow margin of 4-3. Finally, Bar Snort FC managed a 2-1 win against Hednesford U5s.
