Sunday 8th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions, the only exception being ADI Cannock who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 15th September.

In the Premier League division, FC G&T edged past BARELY ATHLETIC in a nail-biting 3-2 victory. The match saw some exceptional performances from both teams, but it was FC G&T who managed to clinch the win. Murder On Zidanes Floor was defeated by AC McCann in a close match that ended 3-2. In another tightly contested game, 01543 FC came out on top against Diadora FC, with a scoreline of 3-2. Real Miners F.C. delivered a strong performance against WeKanteWin, securing a solid 4-1 victory. The final Premier League match saw Street FC fall to Norfolk N Chance, 2-4.

Turning our attention to Division 1, it was a tough week for Sky Blue Army, who were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Burntwood Dragons. Jobbas Warriors managed to secure a 2-1 triumph over What Divock, while Hednesford U5s fell 4-1 to Bradbury Park Rangers. The most high-scoring match of the night was between Glass On Grass and Bar Snort FC, with the former clinching victory with a 6-4 final score.
