Sunday 9th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

The excitement of the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side League continued to captivate fans as teams battled it out in Week 13. The highly-anticipated matches showcased some incredible skill and determination, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.

The only disappointment was a non-attendance from Breast Rummage Albion who have now been removed from the league.  We welcome new team ADI Cannock to the league as their replacement as they move over from the Monday league.

In the Premier League division, The Crow-Knees faced off against 01543 FC in a thrilling encounter. The Crow-Knees emerged victorious with a 4-2 scoreline in an end to end game.

Meanwhile, Diadora FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Norfolk N Chance. The solitary goal was enough to clinch the win for Diadora FC in a closely competed game.

Sky Blue Army dominated their match against Ayden FC, delivering a resounding 6-0 triumph. The Sky Blue Army's attackers were in top form and solid at the back which proved vital in this performance.

Snorting Wizbon showcased their prowess with a convincing 3-0 win over We Kante Win. The Snorting Wizbon's attack proved too strong for their opponents as they were clinical in the crucial moments.

In the Division 1 division, Fatletico III overcame a strong challenge from BARELY ATHLETIC to secure a 4-2 victory as they continue their promotion charge.

AC McCann narrowly edged out DYNAMO FUKTHEREST with a 2-1 scoreline, a superb game which could've gone either way but saw AC grind out the result they needed as they continue to move up the table.

FUB FC showcased their dominance in a commanding 3-0 win over Leavemyarsealona as they remain top of the pile, looking for an immediate bounce back to the top flight.

Hednesford U5s battled it out against Kane Cobras FC, securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

The Cannock Sunday Football League continues to provide thrilling matches week after week, keeping fans entertained with exceptional performances from talented players. The league's leaders will now set their sights on Week 14, hungry for more success and looking to solidify their positions atop their respective divisions.
