It was another fantastic evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches, including new team Dingles Reunited who played their first fixture with us in Division One, they had a tough start against top of the table Nutmeg City but although they went down 6-0 put in a spirited performance for their first match.
It was the clash of the top two in the Premier Division and what a thriller it was. FMFB and Plain Ham Sandwich playing out a 3-3 draw meaning only a point separates the two still. Third placed Fatletico Madrid couldn't take advantage and close the gap on the top two though, they were beaten 3-1 by It Just Got Messi.
Although Messi Busquets picked up a 2-1 win in Division One, they slip to second place on goal difference following Nutmeg's win mentioned above. Third placed Pique Blinders try and remain in contention and sit just three points off the pace, a 6-0 win for them their latest result over Cannock Town.
We wish all teams good luck heading into the next round of fixtures with Cannock's premier provider of small sided football!
