Another excellent evening in the Cannock Wednesday 6 aside league held at 5`s Pavilion with all teams in attendance apart from Shady FC and Ha Tracks who cancelled on the day but have confirmed that they are back for next week. We also had a no show from Golden Oldies and they have now been removed from the league.
The premier division saw Jimmy Sevilla FC emerge victorious with a commanding 5-0 win over Athletic Bilswan. The star performers for Jimmy Sevilla FC were the deadly attacking duo of Alex Hughes and Daniel Smith, who netted two goals each, while Benjamin Turner chipped in with one.
In Division 1, DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE claimed a 2-0 victory against Champagne Super Rovers, thanks to goals from Liam Thompson and John Robertson. Meanwhile, Newstead FS clinched a narrow 2-1 win over Demba 9 Ba, courtesy of goals from Ashley Morgan and Samuel Scott.
Division 2 saw a dominant display from MABLE'S SPARTANS, who thumped Baldeaux 6-1. The Spartans' strike force, led by top scorer Kevin Ford, proved too hot to handle for the opposition, as Ford bagged a hat-trick, while Adam Price, Thomas Wilson, and Robert Grant added one goal apiece.
In Division 3, 6Men1Cup secured an emphatic 5-0 triumph over Expected Toulouse, with Andrew Chapman and Matthew Wilson leading the scoring charts, both netting twice, and Lewis Taylor adding another. Concurrently, Haven't Got One Yet edged past DCF United 2-1, with goals from Harry Anderson and Luke Thompson securing the win.
