Wednesday 10th April - Cannock and Hednesford Round-up

It was a good evening's football once again in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some superb football on display across the five divisions.

In the Premier League, Exeter Gentley delivered an exceptional performance, defeating ORIENTAL DELIGHT with a whopping twelve goals to three. This spectacular show of skill ensured the team consolidates their position at the top of the table as the highest scorers in this division.

Division 1 saw Ideal FC and Banglasesh FC battle it out to a 2-2 draw, while Clarence F.C. secured a comfortable victory over Borrussia Teeth with a final score of 3-1. The highlight in this division was undoubtedly NUTMEG CITY's stellar performance, netting 5 goals against Baldeaux, placing them as the division's top scorers.

In Division 2, Albert Sloshers gave a splendid performance by defeating Barmy Army with an impressive 5-1 victory, positioning themselves as the top scorers in the division.

Division 3 was no less competitive, with Murder On Zidane's Floor showcasing a dominant display against Norton Wanderers, ending the match with a 6-0 win. Their remarkable performance crowns them as the top scorers in this division for the week.

Division 4 saw FC G&T register an emphatic victory against FIVE WAYS with a 7-1 win, putting them on top of the division's scoring chart for this week's matches.
