Wednesday 12th June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across the divisions, the only exception being Haven't Got One Yet who return on Wednesday 19th June as normal.

The Premier League saw some thrilling moments as the Romasexuals dominated the GERIHATRICKS with a 6-0 victory. Furthermore, Jimmy Sevilla FC showed their prowess by beating Exeter Gentley 4-1, showcasing the skills and teamwork that have kept them at the top of the leaderboard.

In Division 1, IDEAL FC emerged as the week's high scorers, defeating Newstead FC 4-1. Borrussia Teeth also demonstrated their strength on the field by beating Baldeaux 5-2. Impressively, Banglasesh FC secured a clean sheet with a 3-0 win over Clarence F.C.

Division 2 saw Wine Bar FC dominate Shameless 6! with a 5-1 victory, becoming top scorers for their division. In a closely contested match, Albert Sloshers narrowly defeated Bilbao Baggins 3-2, and MABLE'S SPARTANS triumphed over Barmy Army 2-0.

In Division 3, the most exciting match was between Strongbow Unathletic and Real Sociopaths, which saw the former edging out the latter in a high scoring 5-4 game. Murder On Zidane's Floor also marked a significant 5-1 victory over LIMES FC.

Lastly, in Division 4, FC spearheaded their division by claiming a 5-1 win against Wyld Stallyns. In a tight match, Limes FC 2 attained a 2-1 win over Hotel Thiago.
