Wednesday 13th December - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good end to the season in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and some fantastic football played!

In the Premier League division, Exeter Gentley stole the show with an impressive 8-1 victory over Toby Minton FC, securing their position at the top of the table. With 24 points and 11 victories this season, Exeter Gentley takes home the Premier League title.

The Division 1 title goes to One Pitch One Love, who continued their winning streak last night with a 6-1 victory over IDEAL FC. They end the season with an impressive 25 points and 12 wins.

Division 2 saw a tough competition, but ultimately Borrussia Teeth clinched the division title. Their overall performance this season ended with 21 points and 10 victories.

In Division 3, the title goes to UnAthletico Madrid, who secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Heath Haze. The Madrids had a strong season, closing with 26 points and 13 wins.

Finally, the RIZZ KINGS ruled Division 4, finishing the season with 18 points and 8 victories. Their 2-0 victory over Real Sociopaths was the perfect end to a successful season.

We look forward to welcoming all teams to the league for the first game of next season on Wednesday 20th December, before a one week Christmas Break when the league will resume on Wednesday 3rd January 2024!
