It was another good evening of 6 a side football in Cannock on Wednesday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all five divisions.
Teachings of Jon stay top of the Premier Division with a perfect record as they beat Baldeaux 2-1. AFC Heath Hayes still sit three points behind them in second place but inflicted defeat on Old Boys for the first time since they joined the league, a convincing 5-0 the full time result. Ideal Standard sit third after they and Nutmeg City played out a 2-2 draw in an entertaining fixture. There was a surprise result as last seasons champions Pork Vale were beaten 4-3 by Up the Chase who registered their first points of the season,
Cheddar Ball were knocked off the top in Division One as they drew 1-1 with fourth placed Athletic Bilboat, whilst Oriental Delight beat Newolvabora 5-3 in a well competed encounter. FC Crescent stay third but lost 3-2 to Bocaseniors as the whole division looks very close.
In Division 2 Nash FC sit at the top and remain unbeaten as they were 3-1 winners over TapTap , they are closely followed by Tower FC who are just one win behind them, they were 5-2 winners against Mighty Mariners.
Division Three remains very close with 2 points separating the top 5 teams at present. Shameless 6 are top of the shop as they edged past Fiveways by a single goal. The Barns were 4-1 winners against Sovereign FC and Maradona Kebab 5-1 winners against Mables Spartans as they sit second and third respectively just a point off top. Jazz Shack were 3-2 winners over bottom place Not a Kalou to complete the action.
Haven't Got One Yet and Trafalgar are pulling clear of the rest in Division Four as they both sit on 9 points, 3 clear of the next placed team following wins again this week. Haven't are top by 2 goals as they saw off First Choice 4-1 whilst Trafalgar also won in style, they thrashed Out of Shape 5-0.
Pepe Pig are in third place in Division Four and were also in form in front of goal as they put 8 past 6 Yard Club in an 8-1 drubbing. Wyld Stallyns are joint with them though and sit fourth following an entertaining 3-2 victory over Lads United.
