Wednesday 17th April - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring a handful of cancellations due to 11 a side commitments.  We welcome back Exeter Gently, One Pitch One Love, Webblikesfattys and Cancel It FC back to the league next week.

In the Premier League division, Romasexuals claimed a narrow victory against ORIENTAL DELIGHT, securing a 2-1 win. In a nail-biting match, Donk II and Jimmy Sevilla FC ended with a 2-2 draw, leaving both teams hungry for a win in their next match.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, IDEAL FC made a remarkable 7-1 triumph over Baldeaux, demonstrating their stronghold in the league. While Newstead FC and NUTMEG CITY ended in a goal-less draw, Banglasesh FC clinched a 2-0 victory over Borrussia Teeth, and Clarence F.C. managed to edge out Toby Minton FC with a 1-0 win.

In Division 2, Albert Sloshers dominated DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE, scoring a staggering 8 goals against their 2. In an evenly contested match, MABLE'S SPARTANS and Shameless 6! ended with a 3-3 draw.

The most dramatic game in Division 3 was no doubt Norton Wanderers' 7-1 victory over Demba 9 Ba. Elsewhere, Strongbow Unathletic outplayed CrossBarcelona with a convincing 5-1 scoreline, while Wheely Bad Fc managed to secure a close 1-0 victory against Murder On Zidane's Floor.

Division 4 saw FIVE WAYS overpower Limes FC 2 with a 5-1 win, while Hotel Thiago and Cannock Dossers battled to a 1-1 draw. Lastly, Wyld Stallyns secured a 2-0 victory over Haven't Got One Yet.
