Wednesday 17th January - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played across the five divisions.

In the Premier League, Newstead FC sent shockwaves with a resounding 4-0 win over Toby Minton FC. In a high scoring encounter, Exeter Gentley overcame Jimmy Sevilla FC with a scoreline of 4-1. ORIENTAL DELIGHT and One Pitch One Love played out an engaging draw, with both teams managing to score 3 goals each.

In Division 1, there was no dearth of excitement either. The Romasexuals clinched a thrilling victory against NUTMEG CITY by 5-3. Clarence F.C. managed to edge past Heath Haze with a 2-1 win. IDEAL FC and Shameless 6! shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw.

Division 2 showcased some surprising results as MABLE'S SPARTANS routed The Winding Wheel FC 5-0. BoJollys registered a 3-1 win over UnAthletico Madrid, while TomBolas FC knocked Baldeaux out of the park with a solid 3-0 win.

In Division 3, GETAFE ME MASON lit up the field with a 4-2 victory over Haven't Got One Yet. LIMES FC triumphed over Hednesford City 2-0, whereas RIZZ KINGS defeated Skank Fc 4-1.

Division 4 saw Cancel It FC outdo FIVE WAYS with a 4-1 scoreline while Wyld Stallyns edged past Wycombe Tit Village 3-2.
