Wednesday 18th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance barring a cancellation from Borussia Teeth, who return to action on Wednesday 25th September.

In the Premier League, Donk II made a significant statement by beating IDEAL FC 5-2, showcasing their offensive prowess. On the other hand, Exeter Gentley narrowly edged out Jimmy Sevilla FC in a tightly contested 3-2 match. Meanwhile, Banglasesh FC outperformed ORIENTAL DELIGHT, securing a solid 3-1 victory.

Over in Division 1, Clarence F.C. triumphed with a clean 4-0 thrashing of TomBolas FC. The heated match between MABLE'S SPARTANS and Murder On Zidane's Floor ended in a slim 3-2 victory by the Spartans, marking one of the closest matches of the division.

Division 2 witnessed LIMES FC cruising to a convincing 3-0 victory over Funny Innit. Baldeaux and FC G&T battled into a 3-2 nail-biter, with Baldeaux just clinching the win. Shameless 6! narrowly defeated Stonnall FC with a single goal difference.

In Division 3, Norton Wanderers eked out a 3-2 win against Bilbao Baggins, while Strongbow Unathletic and Real Sociopaths ended in a tense 1-1 draw. Barely Athletic also managed to scrape a 1-0 win against Limes FC 2.

Finally, in Division 4, Haven't Got One Yet pulled off an upset by defeating Demba 9 Ba with a 2-0 scoreline. FXT FC dominated FIVE WAYS with an impressive 7-1 victory, while Hotel Thiago and Stuck In The Mud FC played out an exciting 4-4 draw.
