It was another excellent evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and some excellent matches played across all five divisions!
Nutmeg City lead the way in the Premier Division as they recorded their third straight win, this week in the form of a 3-1 triumph over Athletic Bilswan. They are closely followed by Exeter Gently who also sit on maximum points, they were winners of an entertaining five goal game against Cheslyn Hay FC, 3-2 the final score. Newly promoted teams Banglasesh and Ideal FC met this week, with Banglasesh coming out on top of another entertaining 3-2 score line, whilst third placed Murder on Zidane's Floor were 5-1 victors over SMC FC this week in an impressive performance.
Decorer FC and Mables Spartans sit on 5 points a piece in Division One after the first three games. Decorer lead the way on goal difference and were 2-1 winners over recently promoted Shameless 6, whilst Mables Spartans edged past Newstead FC in a well competed game. Pye Green Massive sit in third place after a rampant performance against Strongbow Unathletic in which they were 8-2 winners, scoring several long range efforts. Oriental Delight got their season up and running with a first win, beating bottom of the table Limes FC 3-1.
Athletico Madras have had a fine start to life in Division Two this season, securing their third straight victory as they were 6-2 winners against second from bottom Vic FC. Traff FC sit in second just a point off the leaders, they were 2-1 winners over Wyld Stallyns in a well fought contest. Baldeaux moved into third position following up two draws with a 5-3 victory over Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels in an entertaining encounter, whilst Limes FC and Leavemyarselona couldn't be separated in a thrilling 4-4 draw in an end to end contest.
Cesc Pistols 5-0 win sees them lead Division Three, whilst Inter Yanan moved into second place and above this weeks opponents Fiveways whom they beat by a convincing 4-1 score line, Fiveways drop to fourth after that result and Sevilla Lacatalent's 6-1 thrashing of Ball of Duty which sees them move into third spot. Newolvabora's first victory of the season came in the form of an entertaining 3-2 win over Demba 9 Ba, a result which sees them move out of the drop zone at this early stage of the campaign.
Capri Sun have had a fine start to the campaign and won their third game in a row this week, they were made to work hard for it by a young Borussia Teeth side who led for a while, Capri stuck to the task though and were eventual 3-1 winners in a superb game. HStikkytokky were 1-0 winners over The Pitmen in a well contested game, a result which moves them into second spot. Gangsters Allardyce recovered from a heavy defeat last week to run out 4-2 winners over Deportivo La Cannock, and move into third place with this result. Haven't Got One Yet secured their first victory of the season as they worked hard to claim a 1-0 victory against Cross Barcelona.
