Wednesday 19th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring a handful of cancellations who return next week.

In the Premier League, IDEAL FC cemented their dominance with a 3-1 victory over Donk II, while Jimmy Sevilla FC narrowly outscored Exeter Gentley, finishing the game at 5-3. NUTMEG CITY also clinched a 3-1 win against Wheely Bad Fc, and Blewitt FC tied with Toby Minton FC 1-1 in a closely contested match.

Moving on to Division 1, a high scoring face-off between DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE and Banglasesh FC ended in an 8-6 win for the latter. Clarence F.C. held their ground, securing a 2-0 victory over FC G&T. ORIENTAL DELIGHT shut out Schlupp Matip, ending the game at 5-0.

In Division 2, Inter Mibreath demonstrated strong offence against Demba 9 Ba, taking the win at 3-0. LIMES FC outplayed Malt Fc 5-2, and Murder On Zidane's Floor ran over Norton Wanderers with an impressive 6-1 victory.

Division 3 games saw Rubber Ducks Fc triumphing over FIVE WAYS 2-0, Victor Moses Lawn scoring a resounding 5-0 victory over Limes FC 2, and Strongbow Unathletic shutting out Chaddy WFC 4-0.

Finally, in Division 4, Rosa Parks The Bus and Funny Innit ended in a 1-1 draw, Cals U6s crushed Under My Cucurella 7-1, while Stuck In The Mud Fc blanked The Pitmen 6-0.
