Wednesday 22nd January - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league overall this week, with some well competed matches played out across all five divisions.

The Premier League was a frenzy of goals and nail-biting action. IDEAL FC produced a stunning performance, defeating Jimmy Sevilla FC 7-3, showcasing their offensive prowess. Exeter Gentley and NUTMEG CITY also put their attacking capabilities on display with a thrilling 5-3 game in favor of Exeter Gentley. In a tightly-contested encounter, Toby Minton FC and Donk II shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw, while Wheely Bad FC edged past Romasexuals with a 3-2 win.

In Division 1, FC G&T stood out with an impressive 5-2 victory over DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE. The other notable encounter came between Schlupp Matip and Bangladesh FC, which ended 4-1 in favor of Bangladesh FC.

Division 2 demonstrated an equally thrilling spectacle, with Murder On Zidane's Floor delivering a dominant 5-1 victory over Shameless 6!. Demba 9 Ba also secured a convincing 3-1 win against Norton Wanderers.

In Division 3, Strongbow Unathletic put on a stellar performance, routing Victor Moses Lawn 6-2. BPK managed to blank Limes FC 2 with a 3-0 victory, proving their defensive solidity.

Division 4 saw a masterclass from Baldeaux, as they thrashed The Pitmen 7-0. Under My Cucurella also clinched a solid 3-1 victory over Stuck In The Mud Fc.
