It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches, including three new teams who joined the action, with mixed fortunes.
In the Premier League, One Pitch One Love notched another victory with a solid 2-0 win over Donk II. But the highlight of the evening was the goal feast between Toby Minton FC and Jimmy Sevilla FC, where the latter emerged victorious in a 6-4 thriller. Newstead FC also clinched a narrow 5-4 win over ORIENTAL DELIGHT in a neck-and-neck battle.
The action heated up in Division 1, where Shameless 6! outshone Borrussia Teeth with a commanding 5-1 victory. NUTMEG CITY similarly dominated IDEAL FC, netting six goals to IDEAL FC's two. Clarence F.C. showed their prowess with a 5-2 win against DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE.
In Division 2, MABLE'S SPARTANS fell to the might of debutant team Webblikesfattys in a 6-2 defeat, while UnAthletico Madrid and Barmy Army battled to a thrilling 4-4 draw. Baldeaux reigned supreme with a 9-1 trouncing of Demba 9 Ba.
Division 3 saw tight matches with LIMES FC losing to Haven't Got One Yet in a 1-0 game, while Strongbow Unathletic clinched a 2-1 victory over Murder On Zidane's Floor.
Finally, in Division 4, FC G&T fell to Wycombe Tit Village in a 2-0 match on their league debut, while Wyld Stallyns and Limes FC 2 played to a 2-2 draw. Not to be outdone, Wheely Bad Fc served FIVE WAYS a 5-1 defeat as they looked impressive on their first game.
