This week saw another superb round of fixtures take place in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league with all 40 teams in attendance as scheduled and some entertaining and hard fought matches played across all five divisions.
After five games the top two went head to head in the Premier Division, Baldeaux and Pork Vale played out an entertaining 3-3 draw which means there's no change at the top, although those two are now 3 points clear of their nearest competitors, Only Fools & Scorers and When Harry Met Alli.
Nutmeg City made it 5 out of 5 in Division One as they remain the only team in all leagues to keep a 100% record, this week winning 3-1 against Linwood Raiders. Strongbow Unathletic were beaten 3-2 by Teachings of Jon which puts Pork Vale up to second on goal difference after they won.
Belt Road and Newolvabora remain level on points after both picked up wins again this week 2-1 and 2-0 respectively, as only three points separate the whole division!
Tower FC were in relentless form in Division Three with a 9-1 thrashing of Trafalgar FC to put them top of the table, a point ahead of We're Gonna Lose and Fiveways who both also won their games.
In the clash of the top two in Division Four it finished 0-0 as The Barns and Haven't Got One Yet battled it out. Maradona Kebab and Don't Have a Kalou both won to put themselves joint second as the division takes shape.
We wish all teams good luck going into next weeks fixtures with Cannock's premier provider of small sided football.
