Wednesday 25th September - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with some superbly competed matches played throughout the night.

In the Premier League, the match between IDEAL FC and Exeter Gentley left the crowd astounded as Exeter Gentley secured a convincing 7-2 victory. Romasexuals defeated Jimmy Sevilla FC 4-2 in an exciting match, while Donk II edged past Banglasesh FC in a 3-2 showdown that kept the crowd hooked till the last minute.

Over in Division 1, Clarence F.C. clinched a nail-biting 6-5 victory over MABLE'S SPARTANS, whereas NUTMEG CITY cruised past Wheely Bad Fc with a 4-1 win.

In Division 2, the match between LIMES FC and DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE ended in a 3-3 draw, Toby Minton FC pulled off an impressive 6-2 victory against Shameless 6!, and Baldeaux defeated Funny Innit 3-2 in a closely contested game.

Division 3 didn't disappoint either, with Barely Athletic securing a 4-3 victory over Bilbao Baggins. In another thrilling match, Inter Mibreath triumphed over Strongbow Unathletic with a 4-3 win, and the face-off between Real Sociopaths and Limes FC 2 resulted in a 2-2 draw.

In the final division, Division 4, GERIHATRICKS walked away with a solid 5-2 victory over Demba 9 Ba. FXT FC and Haven't Got One Yet fought relentlessly, resulting in a 2-2 draw, whilst FIVE WAYS secured a 3-0 win against Hotel Thiago.
