Welcome to the round-up of the Cannock 6 a side league, held on Wednesday 26th April at the 5's Pavilion. With all teams attending across all five divisions, barring a handful of cancellations mainly due to the Man City v Arsenal Premier League match, it was great to see the league in full swing. Welcome back Exeter Gently and Shady FC to the league on 3rd May, and we wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
In Division Two, Warehouse Warriors have been removed and replaced by new team Snorting Lisbon. We'd like to wish the new boys good luck going into their first game on Wednesday 3rd May.
Now, let's move on to the match results. In the Premier Division, BELT ROAD beat BANGLASESH FC in a close encounter with a score of 3-2. PHIL MY TEET thrashed NEWSTEAD FS with a whopping 11-1 victory. ATHLETIC BILSWAN drew with ORIENTAL DELIGHT in a hard-fought game with a score of 3-3.
In Division One, DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE won against FOUNTAIN with a score of 4-2, while CAT ZOUMA beat SHAMELESS 6! 3-2. DONK II drew with MABLE'S SPARTANS with a score of 2-2, and NUTMEG CITY emerged victorious with a score of 5-1 against THE WINDING WHEEL FC.
In Division Two, DCF UNITED lost 2-5 to HSTIKKYTOKKY, while CHAMPAGNE SUPER ROVERS comfortably beat NORTY BADGERS with a score of 8-1.
In Division Three, 6MEN1CUP lost 1-3 to UNATHLETICO MADRID, and BALL OF DUTY narrowly lost 1-2 to LIMES FC. BALDEAUX were beaten 2-5 by NO NAME FC, while WYLD STALLYNS drew with OB CITY with a score of 3-3.
In Division Four, FIVE WAYS lost 1-3 to HAVEN'T GOT ONE YET, and CANNOCK TOWN UNITED FC lost 1-3 to NEWOLVABORA. WYCOMBE TIT VILLAGE suffered a 0-4 defeat against HEDNESFORD CITY, and NETSIX N CHILL were thrashed 0-6 by LIMES FC 2.
Congratulations to all the winning teams and hard luck to those who lost. The games were fiercely contested, and it's great to see such passion and competitiveness in the league.
