Wednesday 26th February - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exceptions being Nutmeg City and Oriental Delight after both had given 7 days notice, but they return to action as normal next week.

In the Premier League division, Wheely Bad FC secured an impressive 3-0 victory over Donk II, while a closely contested match between Exeter Gentley and Toby Minton FC ended in a 2-2 draw. The most riveting match of the division was IDEAL FC's high-scoring affair against Romasexuals, which finished 7-3 in IDEAL FC's favor.

Division 1 was not without its share of excitement. TomBolas FC clinched a 6-3 victory against Banglasesh FC, while Clarence F.C. managed a 2-0 win against Schlupp Matip. FC G&T and GRAY'S SPARTANS settled for a 2-2 draw in a nail-biting encounter.

The second division saw Demba 9 Ba edge out Malt Fc 4-3, and GERIHATRICKS narrowly beat Norton Wanderers 2-1. Murder On Zidane's Floor outplayed Inter Mibreath 3-1, and Restored V2 lost 3-1 to LIMES FC.

In the third division, Victor Moses Lawn registered a stunning 12-1 victory over Rubber Ducks Fc. BPK breezed past Chaddy WFC 4-0, while Five Ways and Strongbow Unathletic ended their faceoff in a 3-3 tie. Hotel Thiago fell 5-2 to Limes FC 2.

Finally, in Division 4, Baldeaux, Funny Innit, Stuck In The Mud Fc, and Cals U6s all came out on top in their respective matches.
