Wednesday 26th June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance apart from Baldeaux and Strongbow Unathletic who we thank for contacting us.

In the Premier League, Jimmy Sevilla FC displayed an exceptional performance, clinching a 5-0 victory over Oriental Delight. The other match saw Exeter Gentley confidently overpower Donk II with a solid 4-0 triumph.

Moving onto Division 1, Nutmeg City managed to secure a 2-0 win against Borrussia Teeth, while Newstead FC and Clarence F.C. battled it out to a 2-2 draw. In a high-scoring encounter, Ideal FC emerged victorious with a 7-1 win over Toby Minton FC.

Division 2 witnessed a nail-biting game as Shameless 6! just managed to edge out Double Pogba and Coke 3-2. Mable's Spartans marked their dominance with a 4-0 victory against Bilbao Baggins. Wine Bar Fc grabbed an impressive 6-2 win over Albert Sloshers, while TomBolas FC and Barmy Army ended their match in a 1-1 draw.

In Division 3, Limes FC and Wheely Bad FC ended on a 1-1 draw, while Murder On Zidane's Floor managed a narrow 2-1 victory over CrossBarcelona. Demba 9 Ba and Real Sociopaths ended their match with a 2-2 draw, highlighting the tight competition in this division.

Finally, in Division 4, FC G&T showed their superiority with a 6-1 victory over Limes FC 2. Haven't Got One Yet triumphed over Five Ways with a score of 5-2, while Cancel It FC managed a narrow victory against Gerihatricks with a 4-3 scoreline. The match between Wyld Stallyns and Hotel Thiago ended in a 2-2 draw.
