Wednesday 26th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being BBK who've now been removed and replaced with new team Big Fat Dossers who we wish good luck going into their first game on Wednesday 2nd April!

In the Premier League, equal strength was displayed by Donk II and Blewitt FC, ending their face-off in a 1-1 draw. IDEAL FC showcased their prowess against Exeter Gentley, securing a decisive 3-1 victory. NUTMEG CITY edged out Toby Minton FC 2-1 in a tightly fought match, while Wheely Bad FC managed to score one more goal than Jimmy Sevilla FC, ending the game 3-2.

Division 1 saw some high-scoring matches. ORIENTAL DELIGHT narrowly defeated Banglasesh FC 4-3, while Clarence F.C. showed a commanding performance against DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE, taking the game 5-2. A draw was the outcome for Schlupp Matip and GRAY'S SPARTANS, as well as for TomBolas FC and FC G&T, both ending in 3-3 and 2-2 respectively.

In Division 2, LIMES FC defeated Norton Wanderers 4-2, while Restored V2 dominated Malt FC with an impressive 8-1 victory. Murder On Zidane's Floor also secured a win against Demba 9 Ba, ending the match 2-0.

Division 3 saw strong performances from Strongbow Unathletic and BPK, defeating Rubber Ducks FC 2-1 and FIVE WAYS 4-0 respectively. Similarly, in Division 4, Baldeaux triumphed over Stuck In The Mud FC 4-1, while Cals U6s managed to outplay The Pitmen 3-1.
