It was another excellent evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Vic FC who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Wednesday 4th May.
Exeter Gently made it 3 wins in a row this week, although it was a lot closer for them than in recent weeks as they an out 2-1 winners against Cat Zouma in a competitive match. Nutmeg City moved into second spot as they were comfortable 4-0 winners over Ideal FC, whilst Mables Spartans got back to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Athletic Bilswan. Fevers Finest got their first points of the season and did so in style, cruising to a 4-0 win over Banglasesh FC.
Oriental Delight and Shameless 6 both sit on maximum points after the opening three in Division One. Oriental moved to top spot on goals scored as they romped to an 8-1 win over Baldeaux, but Shameless were in good form themselves, beating 5 Ways FC by a 6-1 margin. Newstead collected their second 5-2 win in a row as they beat Blewitt FC to occupy third spot.
Traff FC went to the top of Division Two following a 4-3 win over Strongbow in a seven goal thriller, whilst Inter Yanan dropped their first point of the season which drops them to second, they played out a competitive game against SMC in which neither could be separated and had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Leavemyarselona recovered from last weeks defeat to get their second win in three, they were 5-3 winners over Limes FC, whilst Cesc Pistols recovered from back to back defeats to thrash Huntington FC 6-1.
There were four really close games in Division Three this week, two ending 3-2, and two ending 2-1. Sevilla stay top of the pile with their third win in a row, a 2-1 victory over Cross Bar-celona, whilst Double Pogba and Coke sit behind them on only goal difference after they ran out 3-2 winners over Five Ways. Newolvabora's first victory of the season came thanks to a last gasp winner as they snuck past Wyld Stallyns by 2 goals to 1, whilst Limes FC 2 moved up to third with a hard fought 3-2 win over Demba 9 Ba.
Ball of Duty sit top of Division Four after this weeks action as they inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on HStikkytokky in the form of a 5-2 score line. Ooff FC are in second place but level on points with the leaders, they edged a close encounter against The Pitmen in a game that ended 2-1, whilst third placed Pique Blinders appear to have clicked into gear this last couple of weeks, they were 5-1 winners against 6 Men 1 Cup. Haven't Got One Yet moved into fourth place after their second win on the spin, running out 2-1 winners over Deportivo La Cannock to complete the action.
