Wednesday 29th May - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played.

We are pleased to confirm the addition of new team GerriHattricks to the league from Wednesday 5th June, and wish these good luck going into their debut game with us!  

In the Premier League division, Romasexuals delivered a dominant performance, defeating FC with a striking 4-1 victory to keep their place at the top of the table.

Division 1 saw nail-bitingly close contests with Banglasesh FC edging out IDEAL FC 2-1 and Borrussia Teeth narrowly defeating Clarence F.C. 3-2. Toby Minton FC also ousted Newstead FC 3-1..

Division 2 witnessed the highest-scoring match of the night, with Wine Bar Fc thrashing DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE, 7-0. Bilbao Baggins, Albert Sloshers, and MABLE'S SPARTANS also secured points in their respective matches.

Over in Division 3, Strongbow Unathletic, Wheely Bad Fc, LIMES FC, and Murder On Zidane's Floor came out victorious in their fixtures.

Finally, in Division 4, Cancel It FC, FC G&T, and Hotel Thiago emerged winners in their matches.
