It was another excellent evening of 6 a side football in Cannock on Wednesday which saw the league return following last weeks cancellation due to snow.
New team Old Boys played their first game in the Premier Division and certainly upset the apple cart as they were 3-1 winners over Nutmeg City in an impressive performance! It appears as though they'll be a good addition to the division if this result is anything to go by. Teachings of Jon maintain their 100% record after a 2-1 win over AFC Heath Hayes.
Strongbow Unathletic go top of Division One on goal difference following an impressive 6-0 win over Newolvabora who remain pointless after the first three games. Oriental Delight are level on points with Strongbow and sit in second as they beat Cheddar Ball FC 2-1.
Nash FC are now level on points with Tower FC at the top of the league as they won their match 2-0 against Belt Road and Tower were held to a 2-2 draw with We're Gonna Lose. Tap Tap are up to third as they beat The Mix 2-0.
In Division Three we saw Shameless 6 continue their phenomenal start to the season, they ran out 2-0 winners over The Barns and are yet to concede a goal this campaign, scoring 15 in the process. Mables Sparts and Sovereign FC sit one point off the top on 5 points a piece as both won their games this week too.
Haven't Got One Yet and Trafalgar FC are joint top of Division Four after solid starts to the campaign. Haven't Got One beat Lads United by a single goal in a closely fought game, whilst Trafalgar were made to work hard as they were 3-2 victors over 6 Yard Club.
Please note that Don't Have Kalou from Division Four have changed their team name to Pepe Pig with immediate effect.
We are pleased to welcome new team Not a Kalou to Division Three this week, we wish these good luck going into their first game on Wednesday 6th February.
Good luck to all teams going into the next round of fixtures with Cannock's premier provider of small sided football!
