Wednesday 3rd July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good end to the season in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for the final round of matches barring a couple of cancellations.  We look forward to seeing all return on Wednesday 10th July.


In the Premier League division, Romasexuals edged out Exeter Gentley 5-4 in a nail-biting finish to top the division with a total of 24 points and 12 wins. Their relentless strategy and exceptional teamwork led them to victory in one of the most competitive divisions of the league. Donk II also delivered a strong performance, defeating ORIENTAL DELIGHT 4-2.


In Division 1, Banglasesh FC demonstrated their dominance with a highly decisive 7-1 victory over Toby Minton FC, leading the division with 20 points and 9 wins. Their relentless attack and sturdy defense made them the top scorers of the division.


In Division 2, Wine Bar FC ended their season on a high note, defeating MABLE'S SPARTANS 3-1. Their outstanding performance secured their victory in the division with a total of 22 points and ten wins.


In Division 3, Murder On Zidane's Floor secured their division title with a thrilling 6-3 victory over Demba 9 Ba. They ended the season with 24 points and 11 wins, showcasing their formidable performance throughout the season.


Lastly, in Division 4, team FC G&T emerged as the division winners with an impressive 25 points and 12 wins, demonstrating their caliber and consistency throughout the season.


Overall, it was an exciting week of action that perfectly concluded the season of the Cannock Wednesday 6-a-side Football League. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for creating unforgettable moments and providing exceptional football action throughout the season.
