Wednesday 4th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up
It was another excellent evening's action in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all divisions.
In the Premier League, Exeter Gentley made a decisive 3-0 victory over Oriental Delight, while a nail-biting match saw Borrussia Teeth narrowly overcome Donk II with a score of 4-3. IDEAL FC and Jimmy Sevilla FC had a tight game ending in a 1-1 draw. In the final match of the Premier League, Banglasesh FC outpaced Romasexuals with a score of 5-3.
Division 1 also saw its share of exciting matches. Nutmeg City edged out Mable's Spartans 4-3, while Wheely Bad Fc claimed a 3-2 win against TomBolas FC. The standout match in the division was Clarence F.C. who scored a clean 3-0 win against Murder On Zidane's Floor.
Down in Division 2, FC G&T showed impressive form with a 5-2 victory over Funny Innit. Toby Minton FC pulled off an astounding 7-0 victory against Baldeaux. Double Pogba and Coke secured a 4-1 win against Stonnall FC, while Limes FC and Shameless 6! ended their match in a 2-2 draw.
In Division 3, Norton Wanderers eked out a win against Inter Mibreath with a close 3-2 victory. Bilbao Baggins outscored Real Sociopaths 3-1, while Barely Athletic and Strongbow Unathletic ended their game with a 2-2 draw.
Division 4 saw some equally gripping matches. Gerihatricks won 3-2 against Stuck In The Mud Fc and Demba 9 Ba triumphed over Five Ways with a 4-2 victory. Hotel Thiago and Haven't Got One Yet had a fiercely competitive match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
