Wednesday 5th June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring Shameless 6 who had to cancel, but return to action on Wednesday 12th June.

In the Premier League, Exeter Gentley emerged victorious, pummeling GERIHATRICKS with an astounding 6-0 win. Romasexuals also showcased their dominance, defeating ORIENTAL DELIGHT with a 5-1 scoreline. In a close encounter, Jimmy Sevilla FC edged out Donk II with a solitary goal.

In Division 1, Clarence F.C. triumphed over Toby Minton FC 3-1, while IDEAL FC took down Baldeaux 4-1. Borrussia Teeth lost to Banglasesh FC 3-1, while the match between NUTMEG CITY and Newstead FC ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Division 2 saw Wine Bar FC defeat TomBolas FC 2-0, Albert Sloshers triumphed over DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE 6-3, and Barmy Army scraped a win against Bilbao Baggins, with a 1-0 victory.

In Division 3, Real Sociopaths demonstrated their prowess, defeating LIMES FC 4-0, whereas Strongbow Unathletic just managed to squeeze past CrossBarcelona 2-1. Norton Wanderers and Demba 9 Ba had a close contest, ending in a 2-1 result. Murder On Zidane's Floor and Wheely Bad Fc shared the spoils, ending their game in a 1-1 draw.

Over in Division 4, Limes FC 2 and FIVE WAYS had a 1-1 standoff, while Wyld Stallyns took Haven't Got One Yet to task with a 4-0 win. Cancel It FC couldn't withstand FC G&T onslaught, who romped home with a 10-1 victory. Hotel Thiago edged out FC with a 2-1 victory to complete the action.
