Wednesday 5th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

A good evening's football overall in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Rubber Ducks who will be spoken to accordingly, and cancellations from Banglasesh and Romasexuals on the day.


In the Premier League, Donk II triumphed in a nail-biting encounter against Jimmy Sevilla FC, winning the match 2-1. Meanwhile, NUTMEG CITY successfully bested IDEAL FC with a 3-1 scoreline. Nonetheless, the most noteworthy match was between Toby Minton FC and Wheely Bad FC, where both teams fought hard but the game ended in a goalless draw.


Division 1 saw GRAY'S SPARTANS overpower DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE, with a 6-3 victory. ORIENTAL DELIGHT and Clarence F.C. played out a hard-fought 2-2 draw, while Schlupp Matip exhibited a solid performance against TomBolas FC, winning the match 3-1.


In Division 2, the game of the night was undoubtedly Restored V2's crushing 6-0 win over Demba 9 Ba. LIMES FC and Inter Mibreath ended their match with a 2-2 draw, while Murder On Zidane's Floor emerged victorious against GERIHATRICKS with a 3-2 scoreline.


In Division 3, Limes FC 2 managed a comfortable 3-0 win over FIVE WAYS. However, the highlight of the division was undoubtedly BPK's commanding 9-2 victory over Strongbow Unathletic. Victor Moses Lawn also managed an impressive 12-1 win over Chaddy WFC.


Division 4 saw Net-six And Chill facing a tough 5-1 defeat against Baldeaux. Cals U6s managed a clean sheet against BBK, winning 4-0. The Pitmen, however, were unfortunate in their match against Under My Cucurella, losing 4-0.
