Wednesday 8th January - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league overall for the first matches of 2020.   There were cancellations from First Choice FC, 6 Lovely Guys from Penkridge, Pub? and Teachings of Jon, all of which we look forward to seeing back on Wednesday 15th January.

We also welcomed three new teams to the league for the first games of the new year.  Shakhtar Finesse took their place in the Premier Division and faced a tough opening game against Snorting Wizbon, losing 7-1.  Tequila Rattler also came up against a top team in Division One as Maradona Kebab beat them 8-0, whilst Vic FC were 5-0 winners in their opening game in Division Three.

All teams are reminded that in the event you are unable to attend a fixture, it is very important you contact us at Head Office on 0333 123 2340 in order that we can ensure your opponents get a game in your absence.
