Wednesday 8th November - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night barring three cancellations.  We welcome back Washed The Bed, Real Newstead and Getafe Me Mason to the league on Wednesday 15th November.

In the Premier League, Exeter Gentley snatched an emphatic 6-0 victory against Newstead FC, while Donk II secured a narrow 2-1 win over Oriental Delight, further intensifying the competition at the top of the division.

Division 1 saw some standout performances too. One Pitch One Love fell to a 2-1 defeat against Demba 9 Ba, while Ideal FC managed a 5-3 triumph over Clarence F.C. Athletic Bilswan also impressed, beating Nutmeg City 4-1. Shameless 6! edged out The Winding Wheel FC in a thrilling 5-3 encounter.

Double Pogba and Coke and Baldeaux fought to a 2-2 draw in Division 2, while DCF United cruised to a 5-0 victory against Getafe Me Mason. Borrussia Teeth also put on a strong display, overcoming TomBolas FC with a 5-1 win. Meanwhile, Mable’s Spartans squeaked past Limes FC with a 2-1 victory.

In Division 3, Limes FC 2 came out on top in a 5-4 thriller against Skank FC. BoJollys blanked Heath Haze 2-0, while UnAthletico Madrid managed a 3-1 win over Strongbow Unathletic.

Finally, the Division 4 was witness to some intense matches. Rizz Kings and Five Ways ended their clash in a 2-2 draw. Limes FC 3 defeated Norton Wanderers 3-1, while Hednesford City edged out Real Sociopaths 2-1. In a closely contested match, Wyld Stallyns beat Wycombe Tit Village 3-2.
