It was another fantastic evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford 6 a side league on Wednesday evening, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, the only exception being Hat Tricks For The Fat Chicks who will be spoken to and confirmed to return to action on Wednesday 16th August.
In the Premier League, Athletic Bilswan and IDEAL FC battled it out in an unbelievable 14 goal thriller, which ended all square at 7-7! Both teams were left catching their breath after trading blow for blow in front of goal. Meanwhile, NUTMEG CITY triumphed over Exeter Gentley with a convincing 3-1 victory. Another thrilling encounter saw Banglasesh FC emerge victorious by a narrow margin of 4-2 against Donk II. Finally, in an action-packed match, Jimmy Sevilla FC emerged triumphant with a 5-3 win over Cat Zouma.
Division 1 witnessed some remarkable displays of athleticism and skill. Clarence F.C. secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Champagne Super Rovers. ORIENTAL DELIGHT delivered an impressive performance, defeating Shameless 6! with a resounding 6-2 scoreline. Meanwhile, Demba 9 Ba 11 showcased their prowess, overpowering Kingsmead F.C. with an astonishing 11-0 victory. Newstead FS emerged victorious against DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE with a 4-2 scoreline.
In Division 2, The Winding Wheel FC emerged triumphant with a 3-1 victory over Baldeaux. Toby Minton FC displayed their dominance, securing a convincing 4-0 win against Golden Oldies. HSTIKKYTOKKY showcased their resilience in a hard-fought match, securing a narrow 2-1 win against Shady FC.
Division 3 delivered some enthralling encounters as well. 6Men1Cup demonstrated their attacking prowess, securing a comfortable 4-0 win over Strongbow Unathletic. DCF United battled it out against LIMES FC, ultimately emerging victorious with a 2-1 scoreline. Expected Toulouse suffered a 1-4 defeat against Haven't Got One Yet.
In Division 4, Cannock Town United FC secured a nail-biting 4-3 victory against Wycombe Tit Village. Wyld Stallyns and Netsix N Chill fought tooth and nail, resulting in a thrilling 3-3 draw. FIVE WAYS suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat against Lotto Juniors. Lastly, Limes FC 2 emerged triumphant with a 1-0 win over Hednesford City.
