AYLESBURY THURSDAY 5 A SIDE END OF SEASON
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CHAMPIONS
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA SKRTELS
In the thrilling conclusion to the Aylesbury Thursday 5 a side Football league, the final fixtures of the Premier League saw an exciting night of football action. As it was week 18 of the season, it was the final chance for teams to make their mark and the players certainly delivered.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Serious FC dominated the field against Bowsers Barhmi Army with a final score of 6-3. The fast-paced game was a testament to both teams' efforts throughout the season and secured an impressive third place finish for Serious FC. Meanwhile, with the trophy already in the bag Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels showed no mercy against the Lost Boys Of San Marino with a 7-0 win, asserting their dominance in an impressive unbeaten season.
The House FC also rose to the occasion by scoring an impressive eight goals against Unathletico Madrid, who could only respond with a single goal. Jubs Jentlemen and FC Dynamo were evenly matched with a narrow finish of 5-4 favouring Jubs Jentlemen, despite the defeat Dynamo impressed throughout the season to secure a second place finish behind Skrtels. And last but not least, Earth Wind And Maguire came out victorious against Brown Team with a final score of 5-2.
The standout player of the night was none other than Matt Gomm from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels. His impressive skills, sporting acumen and 3 goals earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
The unstoppable Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels clinched the Premier League title, finishing with a massive total of 35 points and an impressive 17 wins, 1 draw and no losses. Their consistent performance throughout the season was a joy to watch and a testament to their effective team play.
Further congratulations go to our Player of the Season and top scorer Marcon Baker of our champions Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels. He scored 63 goals and picked up 11 MVP awards throughout another impressive season.
As we close the season, we look back at an exciting sequence of games and look forward to the next season where these teams will return to compete for glory on the pitch once again.
