Aylesbury Thursday 5 a side news - match day 5

In the thrilling week 5 of Aylesbury Thursday's 5-a-side Football League, we witnessed an exhilarating display of talent and strategy as teams from divisions Premier League and Division 1 battled it out.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League division, Bowsers Barhmi Army and Cutlers FC had a neck-and-neck game with Bowsers Barhmi Army emerging victorious with a narrow margin of 7-6 to throw the title race wide open. Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels faced Fuji Fan Club with Skrtels steamrolled their opposition with an astonishing score of 15-3. The Skrtels' player Matt Gomm stood out with an impressive tally of six goals, earning him not only the title of the top scorer for the Premier League division but also the Most Valued Player of the week.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, the competition was no less fierce. Bog FC outclassed Brown Team with a score of 10-3 while W Fellas and Earth Wind And Maguire ended their match in a 3-3 draw. Unathletico Madrid triumphed over FC Dynamo in a high scoring match winning 9-6 while The House FC secured a win against the Non Bibs with a score of 8-4. Petar Mrdalj of Unathletico Madrid led his team to victory, scoring four goals and claiming the top scorer title in Division 1.

With week 5 delivering such thrilling action, the anticipation for the next week is high. The players are geared up and ready to put on another fantastic show of football. Will Matt Gomm of Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels and Petar Mrdalj from Unathletico Madrid continue their scoring spree? Only time will tell.
