In Aylesbury Thursday Football League's week 8, we witnessed some electrifying performances. Teams showcased their skills, and players displayed top-notch competitiveness, which resulted in some high-scoring contests.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Jewventus and Bowsers Barhmi Army displayed strong performances in a close neck-to-neck battle, with Bowsers Barhmi Army emerging victorious in a 4-3 win. In another match, Cutlers FC dominated the field, defeating Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels 8-1. However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the fantastic performance by Watermead FC, who scored a whopping 14 goals against Zambian Workers, conceding just 3.
In the Premier League division, Luis Santaniello of Watermead FC had an exceptional night, topping the charts as the highest scorer, with a total of 3 goals.
DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, we saw another round of thrilling matches. FC Dynamo succumbed to Bog FC in a 6-0 defeat, while Non Bibs defeated Earth Wind And Maguire 5-1. The House FC and Brown Team had an exciting face-off, with Brown Team clinching a narrow victory of 4-3. Meanwhile, Unathletico Madrid was outplayed by W Fellas with a scoreline of 8-2.
Oscar Rose from W Fellas was the standout player in Division 1, claiming the top scorer spot with an impressive 4 goals to his name.
Amidst the competitive matches and impressive performances, Kieran Best from Watermead FC was the star of the night, earning the title of the most valued player of the week. His performance was instrumental in his team's victory and left everyone in awe of his talent.
