END OF SEASON AWARDS ANNOUNCED!

Our 5 a side league in Aylesbury at Aqua Vale swimming & fitness centre has finally come to an end in a very long season due to the odd Covid-19 lockdown here and there, but we are here now and ready to announce our how it ended....

LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!

Watermead Fc are our league champions and had a great season! They finished the campaign 4 points clear at the top and always looked worthy of being crowned league champions, so much so that they already had the title in their grasp 1 game in advance. What will next season bring for these guys and will they keep up this incredible run of form to claim consecutive league titles?..

LEAGUE RUNNERS UP!

Watermead Wanderers claimed our runners up medals on Thursday night, after beating their 3rd placed rivals on the night in a convincing 9-3 win to ensure that they claim that runners up position in convincing fashion! These guys also had a very good season and probably will be disappointed with only finishing as runners up, so I have no doubt that they will be back looking to go one step further next season to get their hands on that league champions position!

PLAYER OF THE SEASON!

Kieran Best - Watermead fc - Kieran’s name does what it says on the tin and  finished his season as the “best” player in the league! 5 MOTM awards and an incredible individual season for him sees him more than worthy of claiming the best individual prize the league has to offer!

GOLDEN BOOT!

Olly Brown - Watermead Wanderers- Olly claimed the golden boot award in its first ever season in the league at Aqua vale swimming & fitness centre. Olly can now claim to be the most deadly and prolific goal scoring player in the entire league, registering 24 goals in total!
