Exeter Gently really showing their class!

Our 5 a side league on Thursdays at Aqua Vale swimming and fitness centre is proving really popular with teams recently, now with teams on the waiting list to get involved in the league. Its great to see leisure leagues back to its best in Aylesbury again!

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Exeter Gently really put in a really solid performance on Thursday night! Their opponents are our current league leaders and were in no doubt underdogs going into this game, but after being on a little winning run, Daniel Norman and his players definitely went into this game in form. Their opponents however suffered their first defeat last week and Exeter Gently were really looking to kick them whilst they were down! A really strong 7-4 win for Exeter Gently gave the league leaders their first taste of consecutive defeats. Exeter Gently really turned on their class last night and were worthy winner, as they just always had another gear to go up that their opponents couldn't match.

MOTM AWARDS!

Charlie Hine - Exeter gently - Charlie got himself 2 goals and was almost always on the ball. He was absolutely everywhere, breaking up opposition possession, creating chances and also pulling the string for his team. His opponents couldn't get near him

Ethan Toon - Watermead Fc - Ethan was vital for his team, especially in front of goal! 2 goals to his name and a couple of assists really showed his class on Thursday night, most of the time just being another level above everyone else!

Jay Rose - Vale United - Jay was another player in fine goal scoring form with 2 goals to his name and another player with endless stamina. Jay was ALWAYS in the right place at the right time!

Louis Moss - Not a Kalou - Louis one upped the other MOTM awards and got himself a very well earned hattrick. His finishing was really on point on Thursday night and really took his chances well. Every team needs a goal scorer like Louis
