League champions confirmed!

We now only have 1 game left of the season and some awards have already been claimed...

So far we already have league champions confirmed, with league runners up and bottom of the league confirmed unless there is an insanely high scoreline to bother the GD situation.

This has obviously been a VERY long season with a nice COVID break mid way through, but we are now finally guaranteed to finish it!

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Of course our confirmed league champions had to be awarded teams the week, especially after getting their names on the winners trophy a game early. Watermead Fc im sure will have their tour bus organised ready to arrive next week in style for the league champions celebrations. Luis Santaniello and his players have really had a good season, finishing emphatically with a game in hand and already 4 points clear of their rivals in 2nd. It all comes down to the final game to see if they will finish the season strong...

MOTM AWARDS!

Kieren Best - Watermead fc - This guy really turned up for his team on Thursday night. 3 goals for him ensured his team got the win on an important night to win the league. Hugely important for his team!

Adam Osgerby - Watermead Wanderers - Adam didn’t grab the headlines for being part of his team to score goals, even though he did grab a goal, this guy is just as solid as they come at the back to keep the conceded goals down to a minimum.

James Trott - Not a Kalou - James was a goal scoring machine on Thursday night! Finding the net 5 times for his team and being an absolute nightmare for his opposition defence to deal with!
