Watermead wanderes are smashing it!

Our 5 a side league at Aqua Vale swimming and fitness centre was once again as smooth as it could possibly have been, with 2 new teams welcomed into the league, having their first games on Wednesday night, as the league continues to stay fully booked!

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

How could we award it to any teams other than Watermead Wanderes. A scoreline of 8-0 against one of their main rivals in a game where they really turned on the class. These guys put in an almost unrecognisable performance to help them also jump up the league table into 5th place. It seems as though these guys have found the form of the season, after managing a 4-4 draw with one of our joint league leaders and then this week smashing their rivals 8-0. I don't know what has changed in the Watermead Wanderes camp, but I strongly advice that they stick with it!

MOTM AWARD!

Luis Santaniello - Watermead FC - Luis With a real captains performance, claiming 3 goals and just really bossing it on the night. Huge individual performance from the captain for his team!

Adam Osgerby - Watermead Wanderes - Adam Put in a massive shift for his team on Thursday night. His energy level were second to none and he was hugely responsible for his teams clean sheet, also claiming a goal for himself!

Beau Clifford - Not a Kalou - Without Beau in this team on Thursday night, that scoreline isn't 3-2. Beau was incredibly important in ensuring on 2 goals were scored in what was another important win for his team.

Lawrence Donnely - Kings 420 - What can we say about the performance of yet another team captain leading from the front?... all 4 goals scored by his team, all scored by himself...Talk about a one man band! Insane debut for him in the Aqua vale swimming and fitness centre 5 a side league!
