Thrilling Results in Week 2 of Ashton Preston Monday Football League 

The second week of the Preston Monday Football League brought plenty of action, with teams across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions showcasing their skills on the pitch.

In the Premier League, Win&Leave emerged as the top scorers, netting six goals against SamAndie’s 91s. The fierce match ended 6-3, solidifying Win&Leave's dominant presence in the league. AFC Gillingham And Cheese Sandwich locked horns with FC Barge in a nail-biting clash, clinching the game with a close 3-2 victory. Fabios 6 also had a triumphant night, putting up a strong offensive display to defeat Old Boys 5-3, while Big Fish United rounded off the Premier League action with a 3-1 win over Preston DDRR. 

In Division 1, Tyson’s Army stole the show with a resounding 6-1 victory over Ptown FC, marking themselves as the team to beat. The Strand and Friargate Lions ended their face-off in a thrilling 3-3 draw, while Olympique Mayonnaise CF secured a narrow 2-1 win over Edwins Six Offenders.

Over in Division 2, the top scorers for the week, Perkyboys, dealt a crushing 6-1 defeat to Pique Blinders. Meanwhile, TF MERCHANTS overpowered We Go Again FC 4-1, and 50 Shades Of Marc Gray proved too strong for Cushty United, with the match ending 4-2 in favor of the former.

As the season progresses, the competition is heating up. Teams across all divisions are displaying remarkable spirit and tenacity, promising an exhilarating season ahead in the Preston Monday Football League.
