In an exciting third week of the Preston Monday 6-a-side Football league, a series of fast-paced matches saw teams battling it out on the field across the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.
In the Premier League, Preston DDRR made a stunning showcase of their prowess, defeating AFC Tin with a decisive 5-1 victory. Reform FC didn't hold back either, taking down the Old Boys with a 4-2 scoreline. Mensroom and Ringers FC battled neck and neck, ending in an exciting 4-4 draw, while GNAC showcased a strong defensive strategy, blanking Chamakh Ya Mother 3-0.
Division 1 saw AFC Variety making a statement with a massive 9-0 thrashing against Paralytic Athletic. Winnet FC managed to get the upper hand against Olympique Mayonnaise CF with a 4-2 victory. Gamblers Anonymous and Big Fish United also registered convincing wins against SamAndie’s 91s and Friargate Lions respectively.
Division 2 action was just as dramatic. 50 Shades Of Marc Gray pulled off a narrow victory over the Perkyboys, with a 3-2 finish. Pique Blinders fell short against Who Ate All The Pies, ending with a 3-1 loss. In a tightly contested match, Egg Fried Riis managed to edge past Expected Toulouse with a 4-3 win.
The top scorers of each division put on a remarkable show. In the Premier League, Preston DDRR's striking skills shone through. In Division 1, AFC Variety's goal scoring spree was a highlight, while in Division 2, Egg Fried Riis's striker showed some exemplary finishing skills.
