In an exhilarating night of football, the Doncaster Monday football league entered its third week with teams from Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 giving their all to outshine their opponents.
In Division 1, Turkish Delights, dressed in brown, showed their dominance over Bubble Design FC (black), with a decisive 3-1 victory. The tension was palpable in the standoff between Sporting Abeergut and YUP DN4 (red), with both sides holding their ground, leading to a goalless draw. Newlands made a statement with their 7-0 thrashing of Warren Park Wanderers. The highlight of the evening was the performance by Pepe Pig FC, who showed no mercy against Paracoense (Green), delivering a crushing 10-0 defeat, making them the top scorers in the division.
The action in Division 2 was no less exciting. Sex, Drugs and Carlton Cole (white) took a significant win over Bayern Bru, with a 5-0 scoreline. Woodfield Social & Sports Club managed a 2-0 victory over Skegdog UTD, while Chaos Crew (Red/White) overpowered No Name FC 3-1. Doncaster Town (yellow/blue) delivered an impressive 4-1 victory over Doncaster Individuals.
Meanwhile, in Division 3, Mh Star Belgrade raised the bar, defeating All Starz FC 6-0, making them the top scorers for the division. Renault Rangers (orange) narrowly edged past Harworth with a 2-1 victory, whilst Brian Munich ran riot over Carrcelona with a 5-0 win.
As the season progresses, each game becomes more important and the competition fiercer. Football fans will undoubtedly be eagerly waiting for next week's fixtures.
