Axminster was lit up with the champagne football on show this evening. Many goals fired in and some highly competitive fixtures in round 3 of this exciting league. The Roys are making great progress and find themselves challenging at the top of the table with back to back victories. Uplyme will be pleased and most certainly relieved to get over the line in a closely fought battle with Yarcombe. This gave Uplyme their first victory of the season and keeps Yarcombe still in need of their first win of the campaign. The Vikings once again get off to a great start to the season and maybe this year they will be able to keep up the run of form to push for some honours. Farmers weekly were only a fraction of the side that faced Portsmuff last week and were in the end comfortably beaten 3-1. HFC are still very much the team to beat and continue their fine run of form with a superb victory over the highly regarded Undateables. In the nights final game we were lucky to see Portsmuff put on a stunning performance and steam roller a Chard chopsys side that are growing in confidence but were well beaten by some free flowing football.
